GCVR in three finals at the Porto International Meeting
GCVR performed well, achieving a presence in 3 finals, taking 26th place as a team with 38 points.
Maria Braz achieved the best individual result by finishing 6th in the 50 Breaststroke Final A with a time of 34.96, with special mention for the 8th place in the men's 4×50 Freestyle relay with a time of 1.41.36 and Leonor Silva finishing 3rd in the 50 Freestyle Final B with a time of 28.01. Also noteworthy: Maria Braz was 22nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1.21.25) and 33rd in the 100 Freestyle (1.04.88); Herman Kovalchuk was 18th in the 50 Backstroke (28.84) and 38th in the 50 Freestyle (25.45); Hugo Gonçalves was 20th in the 100 Butterfly (59.83), 22nd in the 50 Butterfly (26.83), 26th in the 100 Free (55.70) and 38th in the 50 Free; Rodrigo Silva was 20th in the 50 Free (24.79) and 29th in the 100 Free (55.88); Leonor Silva was 25th in the 100 Free (1.04.13); Miguel Carvalho was 35th in the 50 Breaststroke (33.91); Tiago Fernandes was 19th in the 50 Butterfly (26.66) and 28th in the 50 Free (25.00); Eduardo Yakubenko was 46th in the 50 Free (25.79).
GCVR athletes also performed well in the relay events, finishing 9th in the 4×50 Freestyle Mixed (1.47.11), 10th in the 4×50 Medley Mixed (1.59.67) and 10th in the 4×50 Medley Men's (1.52.33).
