On April 30, the working day in Russia will be shortened by one hour in connection with the Spring and Labor Day, RANEPA expert Tatyana Podolskaya told RIA Novosti .
She explained that the May holidays include the days off from May 1 to May 4 and from May 8 to May 11. Since May 1 is a holiday, the working day on April 30 will be shorter by one hour. At the same time, May 7 will not be shortened, since May 8 is a day off, transferred from February 23.
Podolskaya also noted that 13 days off and 18 working days are expected in May 2025. With a salary system, taking a vacation this month is not profitable, since fewer working days lead to higher pay for each day worked.
Previously, meat prices soared during the May holidays.
