Messi and “Messinho” exchange shirts in Palmeiras vs Inter Miami at the World Cup

The stars of Palmeiras and Inter Miami provided a remarkable and symbolic scene during the break in the match this Monday (23), for the third round of the Club World Cup.

Estêvão, a young reference for Verdão and nicknamed "Messinho", met with Lionel Messi in the corridors of the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami.

The players exchanged their shirts as the teams left for the locker room, and the moment was recorded by TV Globo's broadcast cameras.

Palmeiras and Inter Miami in the Club World Cup

After a thrilling 2-2 draw, Palmeiras and Inter Miami secured their places in the round of 16. In the other match of the night, Al Ahly and Porto were also tied, in a "crazy" 4-4.

With these results, Verdão advanced in first place in Group A and will face Botafogo in the next phase. The team of Messi, Suárez and company will face PSG.
